The steady hands
of A Guide.

“There is nothing like the feeling that someone else knows what you are going through, cares about you as a person and has some perspective that might help”
My life has been a constant exploration of big ideas. As a child, I was fascinated by space exploration. As a youth, I discovered the wilderness. As a young adult, I found joy in loving and serving other people. As a young professional, I was driven by critical thinking and performance improvement. Now, as a seasoned professional, I am thrilled to bring together my love of adventure, my love of people and my love of big ideas into a practice where, as a guide on the side, I help others on their epic journeys.
My professional experience includes time as an auditor, consultant, CFO, COO, chief executive, and board member. I have worked in multinationals, technology start-ups, public agencies, and purpose-driven not-for-profit organizations. I have helped in advisory, executive and governance roles.
As a volunteer, through hundreds of one-on-one and small group interactions, including epic wilderness adventures, I have helped hundreds of young people find their confidence and move forward on their personal growth paths.

“Being part of a network of professionals with their own diverse experiences and networks means that no one must face a challenge alone.”
After a great introduction to the business world at a public accounting firm, l ventured into industry where I served in increasingly responsible financial and management roles. I was often the senior finance professional in the organization and had to figure out many things on my own. I found myself missing an experienced guide to help me analyse and prioritize issues, evaluate options, and form solutions.
Recognizing the value of sharing experiences and learning with others, I moved into supporting the professional development of CPAs and then into a guide role. For the past decade, my practice has combined holding fractional C-suite roles with guiding CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, CPAs and students in many organizations. I thrive on supporting others in their professional journey, developing their skills to face challenges and formulate solutions.
